The 22nd European Conference on Few-Body Problems in Physics

Kraków, Poland, 9 - 13 September 2013

Conference Location

The conference will take place at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University. The Auditorium Maximum is located close to the historic center of Cracow.

Cracow is definitely the most beautiful place in Poland. Its history is more than 1000 years long and our university itself was founded more than 600 years ago. For centuries Cracow was the capital of Poland, the seat of kings, bishops and the university. It attracted great scholars and artists from the whole world. It is their talents and imagination we must thank for the cultural heritage, which reflects the most important trends in European culture. The renaissance Royal Castle at Wawel Hill, the Gothic Saint Mary's Basilica, the historical trade pavilions of the Cloth Hall and the whole Main Market Square area, the former separate Jewish city of Kazimierz, are all places which make a visit to Krakow extremely worthwhile. And these are only few examples.

The city with its nearly 800 000 inhabitants still plays an important administrative role. Cracow is the capital city of the Province of Małopolska. It is abe to connect tradition with modernity. In the special atmosphere of the beautiful streets of the Old Town and Kazimierz you will find not only museums but also shops, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
